A MERGER OF DOMAINS
Urban landscapes from the Greater Los Angeles area depicting the boundaries of eruvs, Orthodox Jewish ritualistic enclosures made up of walls, fences, and monofilament that enable the community to congregate on Shabbat. These images, digitally altered to remove all cars, examine the relationship between community and proximity and the ways in which those concepts rely on mobility infrastructure.
